In September 2010, I posted a Mark DeRosa “Dragon” (Speech Recognition software) ad that was played on KNBR. Here’s another one I found that was played on June 28, 2010. FYI, he officially decided on season-ending wrist surgery on June 22….I don’t remember if he did commercials for Dragon before but it would make sense if he had just started haha!
BTW I love how boringly he says “There are so many things to be excited about.”
While cleaning my room, I came across a diary I got in February 1998 (when I was about 8 years old). It only had 5-10 entries in it, so I read them all. It was quite amusing! I have to share these:
August 21, 1998
Today is Friday. I just got back from a vacation. I went to Big Bear Lake!!!!! I can’t wait till school starts!!! It starts in 4 days! I probably won’t write in this for a long time ‘cause I haven’t for like 3 months! Anyway, I can’t wait till school starts!!!! Except that people are mean and they laugh when you fart. They are sooo mean! They tease eeeverybody! I can’t believe it! Well anyway. It is 8:52! Gotta go! Bye!

Today is Saturday. I am going to a Wedding Reception. Only a RECEPTION. NOT a Wedding. The Wedding was in HAWAII! Well anyway, I’m late! The Reception is in San Ramon! I’m leaving about right now. Actually, I’m leaving later ‘cause Daddy’s getting gas. I’m soooooooo late! I was supposed to leave at 11:00. But now it is 11:16! Anyway, I Gotta Go! Bye!
And on the first few pages of the book, there are multiple donut-like drawings. Next to one of the donuts is written “(A PEEKING DETECTOR)” and at the bottom of one of the pages is a warning that says “Don’t Go Past! If You Go Past Anymore, You Will Get Poisoned By A Peek Detector!” The tops of each of the next 30ish pages has “Don’t look! [donut] Stupid! [donut]”
Wow, I was quite a silly little 8-year-old.
Gonna be posting progress of my winter break room-cleaning project here. If I’m successful, the progression of photos should look pretty cool by the end. :) Hopefully I can finish before I go back to class on January 24th!

Most of you won’t understand why this person is my role model and you’ll probably think I’m some kind of nut or something, but whatever.
Ida, Lindsey and Lauren are the only ones in the world that do understand why and they don’t judge and I love them even more for it <3

By the way, every player has walk-up music at home when he comes to bat or takes the mound. Most players choose their music with great care. When I asked Posey about his walk-up song, he said he wasn’t aware he had one and had no idea who picked it.
